– PTTEP – in international M&A Transaction in purchase of 100% of shares in
international Dutch company, having 80-years history operating in the oil and
gas industry and assets in several countries worldwide (transaction amount US$622
million).
Incorporated in Thailand in 1985, PTTEP’s
operations currently cover 46 projects in 12 countries worldwide. As a result
of this Transaction, PTTEP among other oil-gas assets worldwide, became indirect co-owner of strategic oil field in Kazakhstan.
The closing of the transaction is subject to Kazakh regulatory approvals, which
were recently successfully received with our assistance.
